Where Lady Madonna comes from

Nobody has published it. Leafly says the strain was “bred by unknown breeders”, and Weedmaps says its origins lack information. The one parentage claim we found online is uncited, so we are not repeating it.

What can be traced is who grows it. Curaleaf sells Lady Madonna across its Florida dispensaries as flower, small buds, pre-rolls and cartridges, and the earliest dated Leafly reviews, from early 2024, name Curaleaf. A numbered cut, Lady Madonna #10, is listed by Leafly as a parent of Nuclear Muffins from Curaleaf’s Grassroots brand. In New York the strain appears under Miss Grass, a brand that Curaleaf’s New York stores carry and that signed a Florida deal with Curaleaf in 2025.

Aroma and flavor

Miss Grass describes its New York Lady Madonna as apple, flowers, basil and black pepper. Weedmaps says earthy, citrus and woody. Leafly tags it berry.

One New York batch, listed by a Long Island dispensary, published a full terpene panel: 1.31% total, led by myrcene (0.37%), limonene (0.32%) and caryophyllene (0.28%), with linalool at 0.13%. That is one batch from one grower, so read the certificate of analysis on the jar in front of you.

Some databases describe Lady Madonna as a lemony, 70/30 sativa. That profile does not match the Curaleaf and Miss Grass flower, and may describe a different cut that shares the name.

THC and what to expect

Leafly lists Lady Madonna at 19% THC, but the New York flower runs well above that. Labels on the three NYC menus that carried it ranged from 29% to 32%, and the batch above tested at 31.6% total THC. That is at the top end of what licensed shops sell.

Miss Grass sells it in its “Quiet Times” line and lists the effects as relaxed, sleepy and happy; the NYC shops that tag effects say relaxed, sleepy and hungry. Leafly reviewers, mostly writing about the Florida flower, describe a calmer high without couch lock. At 30% THC a small amount goes a long way, particularly if you do not consume often. Our THC calculator shows what the label means in milligrams.

Buy only from a licensed shop. Our license checker looks up any store by name, street or ZIP against the state list, the Office of Cannabis Management has its own verification page, and our NYC dispensary directory lists every licensed shop by borough.

Where Lady Madonna is sold outside New York City

  • Elsewhere in New York: Miss Grass Lady Madonna eighths have been listed by dispensaries on Long Island and in Rockland County.
  • Florida: Curaleaf dispensaries. Florida is a medical-only market, so you need a state medical card.
