Gucci Fruit is a hybrid cannabis strain bred by Solfire Gardens from Forbidden Fruit and Grim Bastard OG. Solfire has retired the seed line, so most of the flower sold today comes from a handful of licensed growers, chiefly Story Cannabis’s Just Flower brand in Maryland.

Where Gucci Fruit comes from
SeedFinder and Weedmaps both credit Solfire Gardens, and both give the same cross: Forbidden Fruit and Grim Bastard OG, which Solfire shortens to GBOG. Weedmaps describes the line as released and now retired. SeedFinder notes it was only ever sold as regular seed, never feminized. Solfire’s own site now shows Gucci Fruit only as a collectible strain card.
The grandparents explain the flavor. Forbidden Fruit is Cherry Pie crossed with Tangie, which is where the cherry and citrus come from. Grim Bastard OG is Solfire’s own cross of Biker Kush V2 and Black Banana Cookies, which supplies the fuel.
One name to keep separate: “Gucci Fruit x White Truffle”, sold by GraniteLeaf in New Hampshire, is a different cross that uses Gucci Fruit as a parent. It is also unrelated to Gucci OG.
Aroma and flavor
Weedmaps describes Gucci Fruit as tropical and fruit-forward. AllBud’s listing adds berry, cherry, citrus and a sour lemon edge on the palate, with diesel, pine and wood on the nose. The Just Flower retail copy settles for “exotic and fruity notes”.
The terpenes Weedmaps names are myrcene, limonene, caryophyllene and linalool. That list is editorial rather than a lab panel, and the Just Flower listings we opened carried no terpene data.
THC and what to expect
AllBud puts Gucci Fruit at 23% to 24% THC. The one Maryland batch label we found, on a Just Flower listing, read 21%. Weedmaps gives no figure, and Leafly has no page for the strain.
Sources do not agree on how it leans. Weedmaps describes creative, social energy and calls it sativa-dominant. AllBud lists a mix that runs from focused and uplifted to relaxed and sleepy. The few consumer tags on a Maryland listing mostly say relaxed. With that little agreement, the label on the jar tells you more than the name. Our THC calculator converts a THC percentage into milligrams.
Is Gucci Fruit sold in NYC dispensaries?
No. Gucci Fruit was not on any of the 32 licensed menus in our October 2026 count.
Its fruit-side relatives were. Forbidden Fruit, one parent, was on 4 of 32 menus. Cherry Pie, a grandparent, was on 5 menus at $24 to $43 per eighth. Our NYC weed strains database lists every strain we found and the shops that carry it. Menus change daily, so confirm with the shop first.
Buy only from a licensed shop. Our license checker looks up any store by name, street or ZIP against the state list, the Office of Cannabis Management has its own verification page, and our NYC dispensary directory lists every licensed shop by borough.
