Where Super Boof comes from

Super Boof started as a personal project. Blockhead, an independent breeder in San Diego, crossed Black Cherry Punch with Tropicana Cookies in 2019 and called the result Blockberry. A Michigan grower known as Mobilejay picked out one plant, named it Super Boof, and made it popular in 2021 and 2022. By 2024 it was the fastest-growing new strain on Leafly and the top pick in Leafly’s national budtender survey, which earned it Leafly’s Strain of the Year award in December 2024. It has since produced offspring of its own, including Sub Zero, a strain Rolling Green sells on six NYC menus.

Super Boof THC, flavor and effects

Leafly lists Super Boof at about 26% THC and says it often tests around 28%. On NYC labels it ran higher, from 26.5% to 33.4%, with a median of about 28%. The smell is orange and grapefruit first, from the Tropicana Cookies side, with a sweeter cookie note underneath. Reviewers most often describe the high as giggly, euphoric and focused; NYC shops list it as energetic, happy and creative. As with any strong flower, start with a small amount. Nothing here is medical advice.
